- Hi there!
-
- I have a Hewlett Packard tape streamer (2 Gb) which marked as CN 3310.
- Streamer has no documentation (it's probably normal for HP 'cause my HP
- harddrive is also w/o it). First time all was OK and I tested streamer
- with 2 programs : Quarterback7.2.1 and TapeWorm. With both program I've
- made soem backups of my system. After a while a crash occured and I decided
- use this backups. But...both tapes seems to be unreadable now. Tape made
- with TapeWorm causes sysinfo: incorrect tape lenght (before all was ok) and
- tape made with QB just 'has no catalog' on it! QB tape was multiple
- backuped. I made my system from scratch now but some useful information
- was lost: phonebook, video catalog...
- What can be a reason for this strange behaviour of streamer - hardware of
- software? I have CyberSCSI controller and Cyberstorm060 accelerator on A4000.
